FolkSense 2013
 -- 03 February 2013
 "Still Here!!"  Cool

Bienvenido  --- Welcome!

Remember: More than one-million citizens of Iraq died under the illegal invasion and occupation of their country since 2003. **

Remember: The first country that the Nazis overpowered was their own. **

Readers Note: --  Arrested!!! -  --  See "Special Update" below.  --
I have been arrested in Portland, OR; three weeks after sending a complaint to the US Department of Justice with undeniable evidence of malicious interference with my medical care, including details and names of medical persons involved.  The government has created a warrant to extradite me to Ohio, the state we fled in 2001.  The charge is that I did not comply with the same fraudulent court order that was used to abduct my child from Canada in 2002.  None of the parties lived in Ohio in 2002, and none live there now.  -- Please read the Daraja case update below.  And be sure to let others know about these government abuses of human rights!

**  Government attacks on the website have kept the site non-functional for two months (Nov 2012 thru Jan 2013).  The hosting service said they "didn't know how to fix the problem".  --  But we are as persistent as the flowers.  We keep coming back!  Cool

--------

FolkSense.com was begun in 2007 to make the DARAJA Case public, because no one else would. -- Ours is one of the "invisible" human rights cases in the United States.

In our case the US government acted illegally (and continues such actions now) to conceal the fact that it used malicious medical interference to punish political dissent; and that it extended that punishment to include my child, within hours of her birth.

**  This is the illegal Pentagon/CIA program that Leon Panetta discovered months after he became Director at CIA.  Panetta tried to inform Congress, but was prevented from doing so by President Barack Obama.  Panetta soon after left CIA.

-- In June 2001 we were forced to abandon our home and possessions, and to seek the protection of international law - Refugee Status - in Canada, to escape community-based persecution by the US government.

That persecution was due solely to my expression of political dissent as a university student and professor.  I have no criminal history.  --  By 2001, one part of that persecution, malicious interference with our medical care, had already taken the life of one family member.  He was my brother and my best friend.  He was murdered because he was poor, because he was vulnerable, and because we were in Ohio where no one would speak for us and no law would respect our appeals for help.

-- In 2002 the US arranged the abduction of my daughter, Sarah Daraja (then nine years old), to force us to abandon our claim for Refugee Status and to prevent any open court hearing of the illegal Pentagon/CIA program that forced us to flee the United States.  These human rights abuses are universally classified as "crimes against humanity".

Our case demonstrates that the "Guantanamo Doctrine", the idea that some persons can be "excluded" from the protections of the US Constitution and international law, was not only being used against "foreign-born enemy combatants" but also against US citizens inside the United States, and long before the events of "9/11".-- The US government continues to use the Guantanamo Doctrine to the very present -- in violation of the US Constitution and international law.  -- We (and others) remain "excluded" from the protections of civil law.

We discovered that US news media (NY Times, Washington Post, LA Times, and many others) and US human rights groups such as Human Rights Watch, ACLU (American Civil Liberties Union), the American Bar Association Human Rights Center, and the NAACP would not report human rights abuses by the US government, unless that information was already public - such as the torture at Guantanamo and Abu Ghraib. --

The only way to bring our case to public attention was to tell the story ourselves.  And once we started it seemed right to talk about other human rights issues as well. ***That's what we do: discussion of human rights, social justice and international law.

FolkSense.com is also a contemporary "Diary of Anne Frank".  It is a public record of our experiences both before and since we were forced to abandon our home and to seek Refugee Status.  --  The US government has allowed no hearing concerning the human rights abuses we suffered, or the arranged abduction of Sarah Daraja to conceal those abuses.  --  That same government persecution continues to the present.  --  ** "Legitimate National Security does not require child abduction."

looks at significant human rights issues and developments in international law. As the US and western Europe continue their wars to re-colonize Africa and the Middle East, FS 2012  continues to explore some of the global challenges to achieving a free humanity. -- Our focus for 2012 is "The Meaning of Democracy in a New World Order".

FS Special

has been added since the global financial crash of 2008. It offers a sometime commentary on the not-so-obvious implications of the "new global economy". We begin 2012 with a look back at the 2007  FS article that warned of a coming global recession,

Obama Report
became necessary in order to document at least some of the propaganda-versus-reality that defines this new "non-racial progressive" strategy by the US political establishment; the new and future packaging of US global domination.  Read "The Obama Swindle".

NewsViews
has been expanded to allow for more detailed discussion of issues in US and international news. Ours is the view that the US news media never ever will report.

Originally titled "American Refugee Story: We Can Take Your Child" - the James and Sarah Daraja story, our flight from the US in 2001, and the government-sponsored child abduction in 2002 to keep the case from coming to any public hearing. --   **Daraja Case updates appears on its own page..

Daraja Case Overview:
-- In June 2001 we were forced to abandon our home and possessions, and to seek the protection of international law (Refugee Status) in Canada, to escape persecution by the government of the United States. That persecution was and is due entirely to my activities as a university student and professor. -- I have no criminal history (and no mental health history).

**Government acts against us included: federal "quality-of-life-disruption"; ongoing covert entry into our home ; electronic surveillance of our most private lives; destruction of personal property; food tampering; placing harmful chemical and biological substances in our home; and manipulation of our medical care. -- By 2001, malicious medical interference had already taken the life of one family member.

-- In 2002 the US government arranged the abduction of my daughter, Sarah Daraja (then nine years old), to force us to abandon our claim for Refugee Status and to prevent any hearing in open court of the human rights abuses that forced us to flee the United States. -- Those human rights abuses are universally considered to be "crimes against humanity" .

An absentee parent was recruited to carry out the abduction, and later to provide false testimony about Sarah's medical history. The US also used NCMEC  (National Center for Missing and Exploited Children) to issue issued a false report that I had fled to Canada "to avoid a custody case". -- I have been a single parent since my daughter was an infant, and her only legal custodian.  There was no custody case.

The Bush-Cheney administration used every method to conceal our case. Those same illegal methods continue now under the Obama administration. -- All my communications are monitored. My email accounts, my website, faxes, telephone calls and postal mail are routinely misdirected, delayed, altered or destroyed. -- In 2005 the FBI refused to receive direct physical evidence of continued illegal acts, hand-delivered to their building (Seattle, WA). -- In 2009 the Obama Justice Department acknowledged receipt of our case, but has taken no further action.
-- We remain "excluded" from the protections of civil law.
